SSB Field Day 2002

The society operated in a 24hour RSGB contest during the weekend of 7th & 8th Septemeber 2002.
'SSB Field Day' (SSB=Single SideBand) on HF using the society call of G0SOA.
The location this year was the grounds of the society's HQ, the Home Guard Club.
The 'field day' part means that the station must be set up as 'portable',that is no buildings or mains power to be used. This year we used batteries rather than a generator for the first time!
